So it has been over a year since I updated this journal... A great deal has occured since that last entry was written. I wrote that entry during my first 3D course... my 3D skills have grown by leaps and bounds since then, and I think I found a niche as a modeler cause I find myself modeling even during my free time. I have posted a few of my models since then...


    I have many more models Im itching to post, but I lack the time to get decent renders of. Im talking about roughly 20 buildings, a good 7 or 8 ground vehicles (speeders, etc), about 10 or so ships and a handfull of characters that I modeled for my Graphic Novel. Oh yeah... I finally decided that I am going to turn my Imperial Smuggler story into a full Graphic Novel using my 3D work. I created a cover using my 3D models (the ship, the building) and Poser characters, but I will recreate the same image once I have actually modeled my own version of Diji and the rest of his team.

    When I have not been preping and working on my Graphic novel, I have been working on school projects. Since I am nearing Graduate level courses my work is getting more involved. I have only two more terms remaining until I graduate... shouldve been one term left, but some family issues got in the way of my heavy load and slowed me down a term. But, I have furthered my concept for Conflict Trinity, but that seemes to have halted as I am in desperate need of a Concept Artist for Hire. I have also worked on some more personal projects both for school and on the side. I should be able to post them up here shortly as well... again, once I am able to get some decent renders.

    I am currently blending a few things together for my projects at school this term. I am taking World Building and Texture Mapping this term. World Building is allowing me to blend some personal projects together and get a grade, while Texture Mapping is a fundamental class and I pretty much get to work on the stuff Im given. Hopefully once I get past mid-term I will be able to actually sit down and render out some of my work from the past year and post it up here. After all, I didnt spend the little I dont make to purchase my Dual-Quad-Core Renderbox for nothing (or the new dual-core tablet PC laptop im typing this on).

I have added some, but would like your opinions as well, if I have any deviations any of you would like to see as prints, please feel free to let me know, either as a comment on this journal, or by note. Im really excited to get some of these images up as prints.
